A suite of two pieces, “Woods” and “Field of Wings”

This setting of “Woods,” a poem by Wendell Berry, was written for the Bel Canto Children’s Chorus, Joy Hirokawa, Director. “Field of Wings” was commissioned by Peter and June Mierau celebrating their daughter Jessica’s beautiful singing and the Contra Costa Children’s Chorus that nurtured her musically. “Field of Wings” was premiered in their 20th Anniversary Concert, May 2004.
