Over the past 15 years, Ooolation has evolved as a workshop where professional composers & musicians gather with young people to create reverberant nature-inspired music. We build a community united by collaborative music making and respect for the natural world; participants describe Ooolation as a life changing experience. Our concerts have become a touchstone for the local Eastern Sierra community.

The budget for this remote eleven-day experience functions on a break-even model in order to be affordable and self sustaining. Here are 2 ways you may be inspired to help us financially:

1. Provide a Pay Back When Able (PBWA) Loan to a camper. A PBWA loan is an investment in a young person’s life at a time when they are cash poor and promise wealthy. You provide the money as an interest free loan and the recipient provides a promise of timely communication managing the payback of that loan, while providing regular appreciative newsletters of their life’s work and adventures. 2. Donate money to the camp as a whole, or towards a specific camper’s tuition by indicating his/her name in the purpose field of the donate page below.
